Frist time in Calshot!

Windguru was looking good, got the kit together, toke a half day at work and a few off us headed down to Calshot (3 kiters and me!) even tough i live and work in Southampton and have done all my life i had never been to Calshot, but i have to say what a spot! Nice flat water, good wind, a nice area to rig and friendly people (even though most of them where kiters)

The wind was ok for about an hour then nothing! :(

So i came in and sat around for about 30mins then Pow it was back and i was a very happy camper.
All in all i windsurfed for 4hours keep on trying vulcans, upwind 360's and downwind 360's.
Hopefully next sesson i'll get some photos and try to get some video.

Epic!!

The last few days have been EPIC for wind and i have been on the water 3 times this week, twice at a local spot just off netley abby a spot we just came across no crowds and flat water only down side is the walk back in shin deep mud and today we headed down to poole harbour one word EPIC 5.3 fully stacked and at some points well over powered and the wind picked up as the day went on.

Got some nice gybes in, tryed a few more vulcans, up wind 3's and down wind 3's shame i didn't get any photos!

Least it was a welcome change to light wind!

Finaly got out on the water!!

We almost didn't think it was going to happen but then the wind gods answered with some wind (all be it not very strong!!) But we got out for a while.
Got some nice light wind freestyle on the go, upwind 360s, heli tacks, sail 360s and foward loop training all in all not to bad, hopefully just a warm up for the weekend!
