How to... Flaka!

Follow the link to see the new video i've made on how to flaka,
Chris yates showing us how its done!

This move looks epic in my eyes and is well worth the effort in learning how to land it.

1) Set up by spreading the sail hand down the boom and getting low.

2) Carve away from the wind, lean the rig to the insid and sheet in.

3) Flatten the board and pop.

4) Throw the sail forwards and into the wind neutrally, extending the mast hand.

5) Bend the back but DO NOT push out with the back hand!

6) Slide around on the nose.

7) Extend the back leg, bend the front one, and stay over the centerline.

8) Guide the clew though the wind, dropping your weight onto the back leg to control the power.

9) lean the sail back slightly to turn back across the wind, and sail away!

Flaka done!

How to... Bodydrag!

All you need for this epic move is speed and balls of steel!

1) Get plenty of speed going across the wind.

2) Unhook and get them elbows in and down.

3) Step off with the Front foot first with all your weight on the boom
to bear away.

4) Then place your back foot in, keeping your elbows in and down
and some tension in your uper body.

5) To ge back up on the board is the same as water starting,
first sheet in and get your back foot up and then followed by your front foot.

How to... Transport kit on a roofrack.

Over looking the forum on boardseeker there was a question about how to transport kit on a roof rack, I answered the question but just wanted to show what I meant.

Board, x2 sails and boom in the bag. Mast on the side.

1) Pack the board in first followed by sails and then boom on top.

2) Placing the bag on the roof flip it upside down (boom is on the bottom) and nose dowm facing the front

3) Mast on the side or on top

4) Two straps hold it all down one front and one rear, doubled back on its self.

Done and your ready to get down to the beach or lake, see you on the water!
